Saudi Man Missing in Ohio Was Being Treated in the US

The relatives of a Saudi man who vanished in Cleveland, Ohio, said Al Arabiya on Monday that the man was receiving medical care in the US at the time of his abduction.

According to authorities, Abdulrahman al-Anzi has been missing since January 27, when he abruptly disappeared while out with family and friends late at night.

Al-Anazi had gone to a nearby restroom while out with his pals at the East 9th Street Pier at around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, according to his brother.

The 29-year-old did not come back. His absence was promptly reported to the Saudi embassy and consulate in the US, and a police hunt is still going on today.

Al Arabiya was informed by his brother that Al-Anazi is married and employed by the administration of the Kingdom.

His abduction occurs just a few days after another young Saudi man was purportedly killed by his neighbor in Pennsylvania.

Al-Walid al-Gharibi, 25, was murdered in his home by Nicole Marie Rodgers, who has been detained.

The young man was a scholarship recipient who was due to receive his computer science degree in two months.
