It was determined that Middletown resident Jason Freeman had passed away at the scene of the incident.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is currently conducting an investigation to identify the individual or individuals responsible for the homicide.
An altercation was reported to authorities via a 911 call just after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday regarding the parking lot of 100 Perrine Road in Old Bridge. According to the prosecutor’s office, the authorities received the call.
The conflict led to a man driving off after repeatedly driving over the victim with his vehicle and then fleeing the area in his vehicle.
