Newark Police Are Looking for a Stolen Car Linked to a Shooting

NEWARK, NJ — The Newark, New Jersey, police department is currently looking for a vehicle that is believed to have been driven during a shooting on Sunday.

According to Fritz G. Fragé, the Director of Newark Public Safety, at around 12:56 p.m., officers from the Newark Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the 400 block of 4th Avenue.

The police who responded to the complaint discovered shot casings, but there was no evidence of any damage to property, and no injuries were recorded.

“Investigators determined that the vehicle seen below was utilized by the person suspected of carrying out the shooting. “The vehicle is characterized as a 2019 blue Hyundai Tucson with New Jersey Registration S54PGA,” Frage stated today.
