New Jersey College Football Player Accused of Raping Pennsylvania Lady

One of two guys accused of raping a woman at a house party in Pennsylvania last year is a collegiate football player from Morris County.

According to court documents, Daunte White, a linebacker for the Saint Francis University Red Flash from Wharton, was charged on Tuesday with taking part in the alleged assault in February 2022.

According to court documents, White, 20, is charged with conspiracy, unlawful restraint causing significant physical injury, and coercive compulsion of involuntary deviant sexual activity.

According to court documents, Frederick, Maryland resident Marcel Mami is accused of rape, wrongful restraint resulting in significant bodily injury, and conspiracy.

On the Saint Francis University Red Flash, Mami, 20, plays linebacker, according to the school’s website.

According to NBC station WJAC, which acquired the affidavit of probable cause, the males are accused of bringing a woman who was intoxicated to a home on St. Mary Street in Loretto Borough where the attack reportedly took place.

According to New Jersey 101.5 On July 27, a fax detailing the incident was received by Loretto Borough police. Before the arrests were made, police conducted a lengthy investigation after speaking with the victim on August 2 and beginning their inquiry, according to the news website.

In anticipation of a hearing on February 8th, White was freed on a $75,000 bail, according to court documents. According to court documents, Mami was detained in the Cambria County Jail because she was unable to post bail.

The two men’s attorneys were not listed in the online court records that were accessible on Saturday.
