NA Administrator Steven Lo Iacono Is Appointed President of The New Jersey Municipal Managers Association.

Stephen LoIacono, administrator of North Arlington Borough, has been named president of the New Jersey Municipal Managers Association (NJMMA). Almost 300 municipal managers and administrators are members of the group.

Members must be committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and honesty in their respective positions. The association works closely with county and state leaders to preserve the municipal and resident interests they serve.

In meetings, one-day conferences, and an annual two-day conference, members share real-world experiences and establish best practises applicable to their everyday work in local government.

LoIacono was previously the manager in Lodi and Hackensack before to his appointment in North Arlington. He is a member of the Mahwah Planning Board, a commissioner of the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority, and a member of the New Jersey League of Municipalities’ Legislative Committee.

In a brief ceremony during the NJLOM Conference in Atlantic City, he was sworn in by North Arlington Mayor Daniel H. Pronti. A number of department heads from North Arlington attended the occasion. His term expires in 2023.
