Previous New Jersey Governor Mary Pat Christie Is Now the Head of Her Alma Organisation

On Monday, Seton Hall University announced the addition of three new members to its board of regents, including Mary Pat Christie, the former first lady of New Jersey.

Mary Pat Christie, wife of ex-New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and current partner of Christie 55 Solutions, holds a master’s degree in business administration from Seton Hall.

Chris Christie received his law degree from the institution in 1987, and in 2019, he announced the Christie Center of Public Policy, a non-profit, non-partisan institute that is affiliated with the university.

The new job did not prompt an instant statement from Mary Pat Christie. New board members Bonnie Evans and Brian Fitzpatrick were also revealed with Mary Pat Christie.

Evans recently retired as the CEO of West Orange, New Jersey’s Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where she oversaw all administrative operations, including the provision of safe, high-quality patient care; employee engagement; regulatory compliance; facility management; financial performance; and corporate governance.

She holds a master’s degree in health management from Seton Hall, where she also served as president of the Alumni Board of Directors.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in marketing, Fitzpatrick is now the chairman of Wychwood Holdings, a private family office that invests in small and mid-sized businesses.

Helen Lerner, who served as the committee’s chair for many years and served as a board member for a total of three terms until retiring in 2021, will also return to the board. She was just designated a Regent Emerita.
