An Individual From Little Falls Was Killed on the Garden State Parkway After Two Separate Accidents.

According to the New Jersey State Police, a man from Little Falls who had been engaged in a collision on the Garden State Parkway was killed early on Saturday morning when he was struck by another vehicle after exiting his own vehicle following the collision.

The deceased driver was identified by the authorities as Mark Terpak, who was 60 years old.

The authorities stated that the accidents occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes near milepost 144.2, which is close to Irvington.

According to a statement made by Sgt. Philip Curry, a spokesman for the police department, the early investigation suggests that Terpak was initially engaged in a single-car incident, and his vehicle was disabled in the middle lane of the highway.

Terpak had just gotten out of his vehicle when he was hit by another car.

Curry did not immediately identify the second motorist, but he stated that the individual was not wounded in the accident.

Because of the several accidents that occurred on Saturday morning, the parkway was closed to traffic in the southern direction for approximately four hours. Curry has stated that the event is still being investigated.
