Donald Trump and Marla Maples’ Divorce Agreement
Donald and Marla declared their intention to divorce in 1997, shortly before their fourth wedding anniversary. As part of the divorce settlement, Donald claimed his net worth to be $1.17 billion, whereas Marla estimated hers to be $100,000. Interestingly, Donald probably was NOT a billionaire at the time. Why would he intentionally inflate his net worth?
