A few weeks after Camila Morrone turned 25, Leo DiCaprio and the model split up. Twitter users are taking note of the actor’s 47-year history of never dating someone older than 25.
According to reports from a few days ago, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Camila Morrone have broken up. The actor’s longest romance in a while lasted four years with this couple. Many social media users noted Camila’s recent 25th birthday as well as the fact that Leonardo, 47, hardly ever dates someone older than 25 as soon as word of the breakup broke.
Twitter quickly became inundated with parodies regarding Leo’s “strange age limit.” Read more here: Camila Morrone and Leonardo DiCaprio break up after more than four years of dating.
Their age difference has drawn some criticism, but neither the actor nor the model has actually addressed it. According to sources quoted in a People magazine article on Wednesday, the celebrities have “finished their romance.” The two’s representatives declined to comment, but the word of the story quickly spread.
And quite quickly, some clever person created a graph showing Leonardo’s history of relationships that highlighted a crucial fact: he has never dated anyone older than 25.

Leonardo DiCaprio has dated a number of famous women throughout the course of his three-decade career, including Nina Adgal, Gisele Bundchen, and Blake Lively. The graph revealed a recurring pattern: despite his advancing years, his amorous partners have always been young adults.

Twitter users started to spread the graph. One supporter commented, “This is what I call journalistic effort.” Another user posted, “The numbers are accurate. Leo won’t date women older than 25.
Given Leo’s past, several Twitter users claimed that the breakup had been “inevitable” since Camila turned 25 in June. One tweet stated, “Leonardo DiCaprio breaking up with his girl before age 25 is the most reliable thing on our earth.”

In fact, some users had retrieved tweets from June, when several had inoffensively “predicted” that Camila turning 25 would spell the end of the couple’s days. According to one tweet, “Netizens had predicted Leo would break up with his girlfriend when she turned 25 in June and it has happened.
” Some claimed that his girlfriends, not the actor, were breaking up with him as they grew older. Have we thought about the possibility that when Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriends reach the age of 25, their frontal lobes begin to mature, and they decide they can do better?
Leo’s most recent appearance was in the earlier-this-year release of the dark comedy Don’t Look Up on Netflix. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, which also stars Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, and Brendan Fraser, is the project he is now working on.
