Joe Budden and Cyn Santana Broke Up: And Cyn Announced It on Her Instagram!

Joe Budden and Cyn Santana unfollowed each other on social media last week, sparking rumors of a breakup. Nonetheless, Budden maintains that there has been no breakup despite the rumors doing the rounds online.

During a live taping of The Joe Budden Podcast, the normally outspoken host casually addressed the claims. “We didn’t split up,” he said. “There’s been no breakup. Right now, words matter. So what does that mean? What that means is neither one of us said it’s over.”

Anthony Joseph Budden II (born August 31, 1980) is an American television personality and former rapper. He first garnered popularity as a rapper with his 2003 top 40 single “Pump It Up” and as a member of the hip hop band Slaughterhouse. In 2018, he resigned from rap and found success as a broadcaster, having a well-publicized spell as a co-host on Everyday Struggle for Complex.

Currently, he is the host of State of the Culture on Revolt and The Joe Budden Podcast, which is aired twice weekly on Patreon and YouTube. “The Howard Stern of hip-hop,” as it has been put, is how some people refer to him.

Santana and Budden Announced Their Engagement

However, he did concede that they “haven’t communicated in a short while.” I don’t think she’s had a working phone in weeks,” he continued. A challenge: “Show me.” After getting down on one knee, Budden opened a small box to reveal an engagement ring and then paused. “Now it’s time for you to step out on stage,” he laughed. Santana walked up to the mic, and Budden asked, “Cynthia Santana, will you marry me?” This life and the next, she told him, she wanted to share with him.

After nearly three years together and four months of engagement, Cyn Santana and Joe Budden called it quits in the spring of 2019. (they also have a son who is nearly two years old). Cyn recently gave an interview to reality TV OG Tiffany “New York” Pollard, in which she discussed why ending her public connection with Budden was the “greatest move” she’s ever made. On Pollard’s show, Santana, 26, revealed that she and the 39-year-old rapper and host broke up because she felt in danger and needed to take action to defend herself.

The Reason for Their Breakup

Cyn and Joe broke up in the month of Mat 2019. Cyn claims that the reason they broke up was that Joe cheated on her during the filming of Love & Hip Hop: New York. Also, he claimed to have found pictures of another woman on his phone.

However, Joe never responded to confirm or deny the claims. Despite their nasty breakup, Joe and Cyn appear to be in good spirits. Despite this, they are successfully co-parenting their little son.
