The basketball team from Eastern Washington University defeated Idaho State on Thursday night, 81-68, to win their 11th straight game. With 17 points, Angelo Allegri was the Eagles’ top scorer.
Allegri also contributed seven boards to the Eagles’ rebounding effort (15-7, 9-0 Big Sky Conference). Steele Venters scored 16 additional points on 7 of 12 field goal attempts. Casey Jones finished with 10 points on a 3 for 6 shooting clip (including 2 for 5 from distance).
With 18 points overall, Brayden Parker led the Bengals (7-14, 4-4) in scoring. In the American Athletic Conference, the Bengals are currently in fourth place.
Maleek Arington added 11 points for Idaho State as well.
Brock Mackenzie finished with eight points and two steals in a victory.
