Dave Chappelle Brings Elon Musk to His Final Bay Area Show as a Surprise for the Audience.

The audience’s reaction was negative as the controversial comedian pulled one more stunt, which included inviting Musk to the stage.

The duo discussed topics such as the notorious Will Smith Oscar slap, cancel culture, and Bay Area politics during a stellar double-bill performance that also included comedian Chris Rock (yes, homelessness and the opioid crisis).

However, it wasn’t until Chappelle brought out Musk that the audience appeared to be split in two.

Chappelle requested the audience to “ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for the richest man in the world.”

Musk, who was wearing a shirt advertising Twitter and had what appeared to be a Twitter employee badge dangling from his front pocket, stood by awkwardly but with a broad smile as he was greeted by a number of boos and a few cheers from the audience.

Chappelle said, in reference to the manner in which Musk, after purchasing the San Francisco-based social media company in November, swiftly laid off as many as half of the company’s 7,500 employees, “It sounds like some of those people you fired are in the audience.” Chappelle was referring to the fact that Musk had terminated their employment.

Musk has been quoted as saying, “Times like this, I think we’re in a simulation.” “I mean, how could this possibly be real?”

Chappelle even had Musk shout “I’m rich, bitch!” during his brief appearance, which was a reference to the classic scene from “Chappelle’s Show” in which the comedian impersonated funk master Rick James.

Following the almost three-hour performance, audience members’ reactions to the unexpected guest appearance on social media were somewhat varied. Before entering the venue, attendees were obliged to place their mobile devices and smartwatches in Yondr pouches.
