Community Members Gather in Washington, Dc, to Remember a Transgender Woman Who Was Recently Killed.

ARLINGTON (DC News Now) — After the murder of a transgender woman in northeast D.C., the community is looking for closure.

Police say that on January 7th, someone stabbed Jasmine ‘Star’ Parker to death on Gallaudet Street NE. Police are still looking into it, but no arrests have been made.

On Monday, members of Star’s family, friends, and community gathered to pay their respects.
