On September 28, Netflix will debut Blonde.

Blonde will need to play in cinemas for a short period of time before Netflix can try to have it nominated for an Oscar, as required by the Academy. Who is in Blonde Cast?
The Blonde cast has more famous faces than only Ana de Armas. Adrien Brody from “The Pianist,” Bobby Cannavale from “Boardwalk Empire,” Garret Dillahunt from “Ambulance,” Julianne Nicholson from “Mare of Easttown,” Sara Paxton from “Good Girls,” Scoot McNairy from “Godless,” Xavier Samuel from “Elvis,” and Evan Williams from “Westworld” will all be appearing alongside her Marilyn Monroe.
Bobby Cannavale is playing “The Ex-Athlete,” according to IMDb, while Brody is portraying “The Playwright.” These characters are modeled on Arthur Miller (the playwright) and Joe DiMaggio, although not having their names mentioned specifically. However, people who are familiar with Marilyn Monroe’s marital history might probably surmise this (The Ex-Athlete).

Who is director Andrew Dominik?
Blonde’s author and the director are Andrew Dominik. His first major motion picture was Chopper in 2000, but The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford from 2007 with Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck is his most well-known work. He would later helm Pitt once again in the ominous parody Killing Them Softly.
In addition to two episodes of the Netflix series Mindhunter, Dominik has directed two documentaries since 2012: This Much I Know to Be True and One More Time With Feeling. Since Killing Them Softly, he has only made one narrative film, Blonde.
Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe
Taking on the role of a legend is always a difficult task, but Ana de Armas is doing just that in Blonde as Marilyn Monroe.
Ana de Armas rose to fame as an actor quite rapidly. Her first significant Hollywood roles came in 2016 when she starred in Hands of Stone and War Dogs. She then appeared in Blade Runner 2049 and Knives Out, two blockbuster films that contributed to her becoming well-known. She most recently appeared with Ben Affleck in Deep Water after appearing in No Time to Die, Daniel Craig’s penultimate James Bond film.
