After a String of Hate Crimes, Religious Leaders in Middlesex County Have Pledged Their Support to the County’s Muslim Community.

In response to the recent string of anti-Muslim acts, there will be a rally held on Sunday in the state of New Jersey.

Following what they describe as “targeted messages” delivered to four area mosques, religious leaders will show their support for one another at the Muslim Center of Middlesex County.

The Muslim Center of Middlesex County, which is located in Piscataway, the Masjid al-Wali, which is located in Edison, the New Brunswick Islamic Center, which is located in North Brunswick, and the Muslim Community of New Jersey Masjid, which is located in Fords, were the four Islamic centers that were attacked.

Dr. Atif Nazir, a representative of the Islamic Circle of North America’s Council for Social Justice, stated that “Places of Worship must be respected and regarded as safe sanctuaries.

The leaders are of the opinion that whoever sent the trucks is pointing the finger of blame at members of the Muslim faith for the atrocities.
