The incident, which took place as the train was entering Manhattan, ultimately led to the death of a young person who was 15 years old, according to the officials who investigated the tragedy.
When riding on top of the J train in Williamsburg at approximately 6:45 o’clock in the evening on Monday, the young man, who had just turned 15 years old, was struck and killed. It was reported by the authorities that he had been traveling on the locomotive’s roof.

The medical examiner who responded to the location determined that the teenager had been found dead there.
