The $1.1 million Mega Millions annuity payout on Tuesday night will be the fifth-largest reward ever offered by an American lottery.
Since October 14, nobody has won the Mega Millions jackpot by matching all five white ball and gold ball numbers. The jackpot’s cash value is $568.7 million.
On Saturday, a $1 million winning ticket for matching only the white balls was sold at the In & Out Deli on Route 46 in the Ledgewood portion of Roxbury Township.
Small Winners but Not the Jackpot
Three additional third-tier winning tickets were sold for the Friday drawing, each of which matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball to win $10,000. One of these tickets was bought with the Megaplier option, which multiplied the reward to $30,000.
These tickets were sold in Haskell, New Milford, and through the Jackpocket mobile application.
The state of New Jersey did not win either the Powerball or Mega Millions jackpots in 2017.
One in 302.6 million is the likelihood of winning the Mega Millions jackpot.
