A Rollover Crash on the 5 Freeway Resulted in the Ejection of a Child

The California Highway Patrol reported that a rollover collision that occurred on the 5 Freeway in the city of Santa Clarita on March 12 resulted in the ejection of a child from the vehicle. Santa Clarita is located in Los Angeles County.

At approximately 1:17 p.m., a rollover collision took place on the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway, just north of Lyons Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol would not disclose the youngster’s age or the extent of their injuries; however, they did confirm to Key News Network that the child was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

When they were investigating the collision, the California Highway Patrol closed down the carpool lane for an undetermined amount of time.

There were three cars that had to be pulled over to the side. Nobody knows for sure whether or not they were involved in or observed the accident.
