In Bayonne, a man was charged with driving under the influence after causing a collision involving three vehicles. According to the police, the guy’s passenger accepted responsibility for a bottle of prescription pills that was involved in the accident.
According to Police Captain Eric Amato, Moustafa M. Moustafa, 19, and Omar Ahmed, 23, both of Jersey City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and Ahmed was charged with possession of a prescription legend drug. Both men are from Jersey City.

They were brought into arrest on Saturday evening at approximately 8:57 p.m. in the vicinity of 48th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard in New York City. A motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles was seen by law enforcement officers while they patrolled the area.
At that location, they established contact with all of the people involved and found that the collision had been caused by the car that Moustafa had been operating.
Over the course of the investigation into the collision, Moustafa had symptoms consistent with being under the influence of an alcoholic or drug-related substance.

Because of this, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. As the inquiry continued, a quantity of 249.5 tablets of a prescription legend medicine was seized. Ahmed, who was a passenger in Moustafa’s vehicle, claimed ownership of these pills as the investigation continued.
After that, he was taken into custody and charged as appropriate, according to the authorities.
