On Wednesday evening, the police in Brooklyn reported that a young guy who was 17 years old had been slain by gunfire in the middle of the day in the borough.
They claimed that shortly before 5:00 p.m., officers from the Brownsville Police Department were dispatched to the junction of Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Place in response to a report of an assault that had taken place at that location.
According to the police officers who responded to the call, when they arrived on the site, they located the youngster suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
He was transferred to the Interfaith Medical Center, where a physician there verified that he had passed away after receiving the news that he had been taken there.
According to the statements made by the police, there have been no arrests made, and their investigation is still going on at this time.
