18 Unidentified People Found Dead in South Jersey Since The Year 2000

Since the year 2000, 18 bodies have been discovered in South Jersey without identification. These victims’ ages range from newborn babies just days old to middle-aged and elderly people.

Their corpses were discovered in remote regions, often along roadsides or in forests.

Some are on the shore, and others are out at sea. When it comes to certain cases, there is a lot of material available, while others have almost nothing. Authorities are still trying to identify them despite the current situation.

County of Gloucester, First: December 31, 2008

Along the Delaware River’s coast near Greenwich Township, skeletal remains were discovered. The unidentified man was found wearing the following items: a blue Harbor Bay windbreaker with hood and a size 2XL tag, a maroon long-sleeve Signet Sports shirt with “Maine” and a sailing ship embroidered on the front, a white thermal shirt, black Dickies pants, black socks, and black Reebok brand sneakers (size 10 12).

The authorities believe he was born sometime between 1953 and 1973, stood around 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighed about 180 pounds. After some time, his broken nose had healed. The police believe he passed away sometime in early 2007.

Long Beach Township beachcombers uncovered a lower jaw complete with teeth. Authorities have not disclosed any other details.

Atlantic County, Third (28 August 2006)

The dead white male was found in Atlantic City. They estimate his birth year to be somewhere between 1950 and 1965. His height was roughly 6 feet, his weight was about 165 pounds, his hair was brown, and his eyes were brown.

May 28, 2005, in Cape May County

On the shore near 21st Street in Avalon, a lower mandible (jaw) was discovered. When asked for more details, cops had none to share.

A Black woman’s body was discovered in Atlantic City. They estimate that she was born in the 1940s, that she was around 5 feet 6 inches tall, that she weighed about 220 pounds, that she had grey hair, and that her eyes were brown.

Burlington County, Twenty-Sixth of October, 2004

Construction workers in Mount Laurel discovered the body of a woman, perhaps of Asian, Hispanic, or Native American descent, in a wooded area near Malibu Grand Prix. She had a birth year between 1968 and 1978, was between 5 feet 1 and 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighed about 120 pounds, and had either black hair or brown eyes.

The victim was dressed head to toe in a leopard print scarf, vinyl/leather jacket, two shirts, Hilfiger jeans/shorts/skirt, white Nike youth sneakers (size 5), pantyhose, panties, and a black bra. The victim was discovered with a black purse containing a box of Kleenex tissues, according to the police.

7 March 2, 2004 – Gloucester County

On March 2, 2004, authorities in Logan Township discovered the remains of a female victim. A teal “Forever 21” purple and yellow striped shirt (size 0) and black Capri trousers were found near the body.

The victim sported light-colored streaks in her long hair, pink/purple fingernail lacquer, and brown toenail polish. The authorities estimate her birth year to be somewhere between 1974 and 1986. She had dark hair and brown eyes and was approximately 5 feet tall and weighed 80 to 110 pounds.

A white male found near Route 30 in Absecon has yet to be identified. The central incisor on his upper left side has reportedly shifted and begun to overlap with the incisor on his upper right side.

He stood between 5’10” and 6′, weighed between 150 and 200 pounds, and had a full head of black hair. It’s clear that the victim’s image was not captured perfectly in the reconstruction. They are estimates based on the victim’s skeletal structure.

Atlantic County, New Jersey – January 17th, 2004

A baby’s body was found on the shores of Atlantic County. Officials think she may have been born in that year.

Atlantic County, on August 28th, 2003

A white man was reportedly killed as a pedestrian in Atlantic City. Between 1968 and 1976 is when his birth occurred. He stood around 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighed about 140 pounds and had black hair and brown eyes. The victim was wearing a watch and had scars on his upper right arm, left hand, and left knee.

If the cops are to be believed, the victim was Latino. Both his mustache and chin hair were also black. Some of the antibodies in his blood were not typical.

Ocean County, June 19, 2003

There was a left foot discovered twenty-one miles from the Ocean County coast. The man who lost his foot or died the year before it was found had a birth year between 1979 and 1983, according to the authorities. White socks with a red and blue stripe, the number 24, and the name “Gordon” were worn on the foot.

Atlantic County, 12 April 2003

The body of the man, who was likely in his forties or fifties, was discovered in an Atlantic City alley. The authorities claim that his hair and beard were long and dark brown with gray highlights. The victim’s Hispanic slang moniker meant “beggar.”

He was discovered in a light blue denim jacket with a zipper, a gray sweater with blue stripes, a flannel shirt with multiple colors, a corduroy shirt in various shades of blue, black pants, white sneakers, and white socks.

April 13, 2003 – Atlantic County

An individual’s skull was found in Atlantic County. A Male, born sometime between 1966 and 1983, was the victim. Specifically, “there was no lower jaw present,” as stated by the police.

Atlantic County, January 20th, 2003

A Black man’s body was discovered in the Caesars Atlantic City casino’s locked utility data room. The deceased was last seen wearing a dark blue pair of pants, a brown leather belt with a silver metal sailboat design buckle, and white underwear.

The murder victim’s mustache and beard were black and curly. His natural teeth were not in good shape, particularly the front ones. The victim’s height and weight are estimated to be 5 feet 10 inches and 160 pounds, respectively, and he or she was likely born between 1948 and 1968.

A man’s skeleton was discovered in Ocean City. The official report states, “the victim was a Caucasian with Negroid mixture and has a skeletal abnormality of the neck,” and places his birth year somewhere between 1956 and 1975.
