The five-year anniversary makeout session between Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) was cut short when, out of the blue, he asked if he should start watching The Flash. Amy and Sheldon eventually part up, and it turns out that the latter was going to propose to Amy all along.

But then Leonard reveals that he kissed another woman while on the North Sea research expedition, and the conversation quickly goes off the rails.
Penny and Leonard aren’t really enthused about going to Vegas, but they go nonetheless, despite their obvious disagreements.

When Raj’s (Kunal Nayyar) girlfriend Emily (Laura Spencer) proposes to have sex in a graveyard, he finds it hard to reconcile the differences between them and considers ending their relationship.
After being teased by Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) about how he has never broken up with anyone, Raj finds himself unable to say how he actually feels and instead declares his love for Emily.
Similarly, Howard and Bernadette are hesitant to tell Stuart (Kevin Sussman) the truth—that it’s time for him to move out. The Hollywood Reporter spoke with creator Steve Molaro about the season-ending events and got a first peek at the upcoming ninth season.
