It’s difficult to remain anonymous in the entertainment industry if you have a prior background in the world, or if you have recognizable tattoos.
Static-new X’s frontman, Edsel Dope, has long been believed to be the band’s new leader, but now we have some solid proof. The leader of Static-X, Xero, was photographed from the side by Danish metal magazine Metal a Day, and a similar neck tattoo to Edsel’s was clearly apparent.
Who Is Static X?
Static-X, a Los Angeles, California-Based Heavy Metal Band, Was Formed in 1994. Before His Death in 2014, the Band’s Founding Member and Lead Singer/guitarist Wayne Static Were a Constant in The Lineup. Wayne Static and Original Drummer Ken Jay Formed the Band.
Their 1999 Debut Album Wisconsin Death Trip, Which Went Platinum in The United States, Launched Their Career as Heavy Industrial Metal Pioneers in The Nascent Nu Metal Scene of The Late 1990s. Over the Next Decade, Machine Issued Five Additional Albums: 2001’s Machine, 2003’s Shadow Zone, 2005’s Start a War, 2007’s Cannibal, and 2009’s Cult of Static.
 Static’s Previous Band.
After the Breakup of Wayne Static’s Previous Band, Deep Blue Dream, Static-X Was Formed in 1994. Billy Corgan, the Future Leader of Smashing Pumpkins, and Static Were Bandmates in The Late 1980s. Nevertheless, when The Smashing Pumpkins’ Fame Grew, Corgan Took the Decision to Focus only On Them, and As a result, the Band Eventually Broke Up.
Once in Los Angeles, Static and Ken Jay Formed a New Band with Guitarist Emerson Swinford, Whom They Met Through Chicago Singer-Songwriter Pj Olsson, Who They Had Both Met Through Common Friends. when They Moved to Los Angeles, They Established a Band Named Drill, Which Featured Tony Campos on Bass.
Career.
It Was During the Production of Their First Album, Static-X, that They Found There Were Numerous Other Bands Named Static, so They Renamed the Band Static.
Fukuda Wanted to Spend More Time with His New Family, While Oshiro’s Newfound Sobriety Clashed with Static’s Substance Abuse; Campos Would Later Describe This Stage of The Band as A “toxic Situation”.
Prior to Announcing that He’d Be Focusing on Pighammer, Static Stated that He Would Be Working on His Side Project. at Some Point in The Future, He Came Clean About Campos’s Departure from The Group and Joined Soulfly.
Though the Band Had Not Broken Up, but Rather the Members Had Been Working on Other Projects at That Time, Campos Insists He Never Quit. On Their Facebook Page, Static-X Wrote, “well Said Edsel,” and Added a Link to His Remark.
