Shaw graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, where she and Hayes met; she then clerked for Justice John Paul Stevens of the Supreme Court; and, continuing rising, she then served in the White House Counsel’s Office,” Hayes was cited as saying by IBTimes.

Hayes told the media outlet, “That friendship has constituted everything that I am as a human being.” Sometimes I worry that the pressures of the job, along with the craziness of the psychological repercussions of being on television, might turn an otherwise normal person into a monster if they didn’t have an incredibly stable support system at home. Yes, I know I’m fortunate.
