On November 16, 2022, you can get your hands on Warzone 2. This was established at a recent COD Next event, which served to unveil the game in its entirety. Release platforms include personal computers, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and 5.

How Is Warzone 2.0 Different from Warzone?
A whole new battle royale experience, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was developed alongside Modern Warfare II. In the same way that the original Warzone was linked to Modern Warfare II in terms of progression, weapons, and assets, so too is the sequel.
It’s still too soon to know all that will be included in Warzone 2.0, but creators like Jackfrags who were on a call with Activision have said that a lot of new features are in the works. A new Gunsmith, featured in all of Modern Warfare II, will be available in Warzone 2.0.
There is less need to grind for attachments because the Gunsmith may permanently unlock them for all guns at once. When an Optic is unlocked for one firearm, it can be used on any other firearm that supports that Optic. However, there will still be a variety of weapon attachments for gamers to pursue.
The Gulag has also been updated, but instead of being a 1v1 arena, it will now feature 2v2 matches. If you are eliminated from a game of Gulag, you will be placed in a partnership with a new player. You’ll need to cooperate in order to make it through the Gulag war alive; afterward, you’ll be mortal foes.
Activision has revealed the existence of many circles at the conclusion of a match, each of which will branch off into its own combat. In the last stages, these arcs will recombine, presumably resulting in satisfying conclusions everywhere. It has also been announced that players’ cosmetics from the original Warzone would not be transferable to the newer version of the game.

What Is the Warzone 2.0 Map?
Warzone 2.0’s new map, Al Mazrah, replaces the previously used Verdansk and Caldera. With more points of interest, more types of terrain, and even underwater regions to discover, this map is Activision’s biggest yet for a battle royale game.

Areas from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009), such as Airport and Quarry, will be redesigned and included in the new map. There will be much to see on the new map of Al Mazrah, as it will have a bustling, concentrated cities with plenty of desert landscapes in between.
What Studio Is the Warzone 2.0 Developer?
Infinity Ward is working on Warzone 2.0 in tandem with the development of Modern Warfare 2. This is excellent news because Infinity Ward has a history of making critically and commercially successful games.
This also means that Raven Software, the team behind the original Warzone games, will not be in charge of making the new game from the ground up, but will instead be working as a support company for the project. Beenox and High Moon Studios, two more Activision studios, will also keep working behind the scenes.
What Are the Warzone 2.0 Platforms?
Talking about platforms for Warzone 2.0 is difficult because of all the variables involved. After Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, the biggest unknown is whether or not Xbox will continue to be the only platform supporting Call of Duty. Phil Spencer, of Microsoft, has stated definitively that PlayStation will continue to host Call of Duty.
“Sony is a vital element of our industry,” Spencer remarked. Warzone 2.0 will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Battle.net, and it will make a triumphant return to Steam. Warzone 2.0 was first reported as being exclusive to current-gen hardware, however,
due to the scarcity of PlayStation 5s and Xbox Ones, developer Activision has decided to release it on previous-gen platforms as well. Since there are over 150 million PS4 and Xbox One users worldwide, this will also guarantee the game has a sizable player base from the get-go.
