Tower of God: Season 2 Plot
So far, the Tower of God webtoon contains 550 chapters, which is an absurdly large number for any series. However, those sections are broken up into three parts, and Tower of God: Season 1 entirely covers all the events in part one, with a few minor changes made for the anime adaptation.
Tower of God Season 2 will begin with Yuri approaching her older sister Jaina Zahard for assistance in tracking down Baam. After that’s wrapped up, the webcomic’s second half will officially begin, jumping ahead in time by a shocking six years, and following Baam as he joins the party of Ja Wangnan, another regular, and tries to climb the rest of The Outer Tower in an effort to find his pals.
Specifically, assuming the anime stays true to the source material, you might see them explore as far as floor 21b of the known 135. Though the story’s outcome is uncertain, knowing that the second season of Tower of God is already in the works is a source of solace. Furthermore, the next chapter of the manhwa is shaping up to be better than before, so there is no way any reader would be dissatisfied.

Tower of God: Season 1 Recap
Baam starts out the story by trying to catch up to his pal Rachel. He grabs her by the ribbon and pulls, causing her and him to tumble to the ground. When Baam inquires as to her whereabouts, she says that she intends to ascend the Tower.
As the light enfolds her, she tells Baam to forget about her. Baam warns Rachel that he will relentlessly pursue her if she leaves. Rachel enters the Tower and eventually runs into Headon there. She introduces herself and explains her Tower climbing motivations to him.
You’re not the one the Tower has chosen,” Headon tells her. Rachel begs Headon for a chance to scale the Tower, and Headon responds with the Ball Test. She sits out while Baam comes, refusing to take the test. Headon introduces himself to Baam as the Tower’s First Floor Guardian.
Before giving Baam the Ball Test, Headon asks if he’s seen Rachel, at which point Baam announces he’s going to the Top. He tries to convince Baam to drop his quest to find Rachel by challenging his test, but Baam is undeterred.
