Three Pennsylvania Eateries Are Included in the List of the Top One Hundred in the United States for 2023.

Yelp has just released its annual list of the top 100 restaurants in the country, and this year three Pennsylvania establishments made the cut.

Yelp claimed that it compiled the list by polling its users about their preferred eateries. According to the site, submissions, ratings, user reviews, and geographical diversity were all taken into account when determining placement.

Chellas Arepa Kitchen, located in Lancaster, was ranked eleventh.

Yelp described the roadside trailer as a “portal to South America” because of its “delectable take on Venezuelan arepa sandwiches.”

Owner Luis Quiroz’s upbringing in Peru informed the menu, which features a variety of Peruvian and Venezuelan ingredients stuffed into traditional corn cakes.

According to Yelp, the Lomo Arepa, which features grilled steak, sauteed red onions, tomatoes, and fried yuca, and is finished off with a drizzle of house-made chimichurri sauce, is a fan favourite.

The Two Birds Café in West Chester, Pennsylvania, came in at number 51 on the list, making it the highest-ranked restaurant in Pennsylvania.

In the words of the website, “people flock to Two Birds Café for breakfast and lunch made from scratch, right down to freshly baked breads and pastries with a ‘just-out-of-the-oven vibe.’

“When Jess and Justin Minchak opened Two Birds in 2019, it was “after dreaming of opening their own restaurant for more than 5 years.”
