Renton police detectives and members of the Renton SWAT team carried out a narcotics operation just south of the city on Valentine’s Day, during which they seized more than $2.2 million worth of illegal substances and cash.

The authorities claim that they conducted a protracted drug investigation at a residence located just beyond the south end of the city boundaries, and as a result, they developed probable cause to support the execution of a search warrant at the location.
