Starting this Friday, April 28, Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey will enforce a 21-and-over policy for all visitors on Friday and Saturday nights.
Officials from Plaza made the following points in a statement to TAPinto:
If you’re under the age of 21 and plan on visiting Garden State Plaza on a Friday or Saturday night after 5 o’clock, you must be accompanied by an adult. This restriction will go into effect on April 28. Anyone without correct identification will be asked to leave by security.

Weekend hours (Fridays 5 pm – Saturday midnight)
On Fridays and Saturdays after 5 pm, anyone 17 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (21 or older). The hours of operation for the Parental Guidance Policy may change due to holidays.
Those under the age of 21 who are shopping at the mall on Friday or Saturday evenings without an adult supervisor are required to leave the mall by 5 p.m.
A valid form of identification showing the youth’s or adult’s age may be requested. Those who can’t produce the right documentation may be asked to leave.
State-issued driver’s licenses and ID cards, military IDs, student IDs, and passports are all examples of acceptable forms of identification. A photograph and birth date on a tamper-proof ID is requirements.

Up to four minors may travel with one adult. * All minors with adult supervision must stay close by at all times.
It is the duty of accompanying adults to monitor the conduct of minors in their care.
Children under the age of 10 are exempt from this restriction.
The Mall Management reserves the right to alter the hours and dates of the Parental Guidance Policy. No weapons are allowed.
