A search is underway for the individuals who robbed a jewelry store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Monday.
The event took place just before 2:30 in the afternoon at the Little Italy Jewelry establishment, which can be found at 1968 Third Avenue.
According to the police, two male suspects wearing masks entered the store and proceeded to break cases inside the store using a weapon, which may have been a hammer.
After then, the suspects made off on foot after taking an unknown quantity of valuables with them.
A male employee sustained minor injuries as a result of a glass that was shattered.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
