The following day, on December 22, Codrington allegedly went to a pub in the Lower East Side with a pit bull and a baseball bat, assaulted the bartender, trashed the property, and stabbed two customers with a knife, causing injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
After that, authorities say Codrington went for a walk through Marcus Garvey park, where he saw 60-year-old Dr. Bruce Maurice Henry, grew upset after having a conversation with Henry, and then repeatedly stabbed him.
