According to the New Jersey Division of Taxation, homeowners will receive $1,500 from the programme if their yearly income is $150,000 or less, and $1,000 if it is $150,000 or more.
Renters in the Garden State can expect a payment of $450 if they make $150,000 or less per year, which is far less than what homeowners will receive.
Payments to state residents who are homeowners or renters and who apply for this programme will be disbursed by the end of May at the latest.
The order in which payment requests were received will not affect the recipients’ payouts.
Owners can apply for this programme online or over the phone by dialling 877-658-2972; both methods need the applicant to have an ANCHOR ID and PIN.
