New Jersey Establishes 1st Food Security Advocate Office!

The six largest food banks in New Jersey will receive a combined $85 million in the state’s budget for the fiscal year 2023.

Additionally, a first-of-its-kind Office of the Food Security Advocate has been established by the state. The department’s goal is to coordinate efforts to alleviate hunger.
