Monday Was Rainy in New Jersey, But Tuesday Will Be Warmer and Drier.

Meteorologist Michele Powers of the Storm Watch Team says that Monday will start out rainy and then get better.

MONDAY: Rain and dense fog until 11 a.m., then mostly sunny. The NW winds will pick up in the afternoon after being quiet in the morning. Highs will be in the upper 60s inland and in the middle 60s near the coast.

MONDAY NIGHT: Clear mostly. Lows around 40.

TUESDAY: Most of the time foggy and windy from the northwest, with gusts between 25 and 35 mph. A shower isn’t out of the question. Inland, highs will be between 55 and 60, which is below normal.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny, but the wind is still blowing from the northwest at 25–30 mph gusts. Tuesday was warmer. Highs 60 to 65 degrees.

THURSDAY: A lot warmer and mostly sunny. High temperatures will be in the 70s north and in the 60s near the coast.

FRIDAY: Clouds are forming, and it is very warm. Highs of about 80 inland and about 70 at the beaches.

WEEKEND: Tracking a storm system that could bring scattered showers, storms, and maybe even long, steady rain. This should have less of an effect. At this time, it looks like Saturday will be rainier than Sunday. Highs 65 to 75 degrees.
