Leslie Jordan Was on His Way to ‘call Me Kat’ Set at Time of Crash: Report

According to a recent source, Leslie Jordan was traveling to the Call Me Kat set when he was involved in a deadly car accident. This is just one of the revelations that are starting to emerge following the 67-year-old actor’s passing on Monday.

He also had appearances on Will & Grace and American Horror Story. According to TMZ, Jordan was driving his BMW to the set of the Mayim Bialik-hosted show when he drove into a building in Hollywood.

Jordan played the character Phil, an employee of Kat’s Cat Cafe. When Jordan didn’t appear more than an hour after his call time, the Burbank-based crew members of the show started to worry. After a mad dash to find him, they discovered he had perished in the collision. Jordan may have experienced a medical emergency prior to the collision.

Jordan was declared dead at the scene by the LAFD and the medical control doctor at the Paramedic Base Station Hospital at 9:38 a.m. because there had been no change in his vital signs.

The case is now in the hands of the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office, which will identify the precise cause, timing, and manner of his demise. Entertainment Tonight received the 911 call, in which a bystander was heard telling the operator:

Along with his acting career, Jordan rose to fame on social media throughout the pandemic for his daily updates that made people laugh. He revealed to Yahoo last year that a pal had contacted him to inform him about his viral success. “No, honey, I’m alright, I responded. Together with my mum, I’m in Tennessee.

I’m free of the virus.” He gained more than 5 million Instagram followers as a result of the social media attention, in addition to a book deal and a part in Call Me Kat. Jordan just, in early August, made his very first real estate purchase.
