(WJW) — On Thursday, Meijer announced that they would be taking measures to help SNAP recipients get more food for their money.
According to a press release, SNAP customers can get 10% off fresh fruit and vegetables at participating grocery and superstore locations through March 31, 2023.

When an EBT-SNAP card is used, the discount is deducted at checkout for fresh produce.
Items such as pre-made salad kits and preserved (canned, dried, or frozen) produce are not included. Here is a complete list of prohibited foods.
Dr Pepper is now offering this flavour year-round.

According to the press release, the promotion is valid in-store only at all Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin Meijer supercenters, Meijer Grocery, neighbourhood market stores, and Express locations.
