The station WTNH reports that in STAMFORD, Conn. Street altercation involving 30–40 people in Stamford results in several stab wounds to a 28-year-old man and a gunshot wound to the abdomen of a 31-year-old woman, say police.
Sunday morning at approximately 2:10 a.m., a brawl was reported on lower Summer Street. Several people fled the scene after police arrived and shots were fired.

Before emergency medical technicians could come to take the patients to the hospital, the police rendered aid themselves. They are both holding steady at this time.
