A Woman in Sussex County Pleads Guilty to Having a Controlled Dangerous Substance on Her Person.

According to Taggart, on December 13 at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, in front of the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., Desiree Vanwingerden, age 31, who resides in Middletown, pleaded guilty to the charge of possessing a controlled dangerous substance. The hearing took place before the magistrate.

According to Taggart, in his guilty plea, Vanwingerden admitted that he possessed a controlled dangerous substance in Wantage Township with the purpose to distribute it.

The hearing to determine the sentence will take place on February 9th, 2023 as scheduled.

Trooper W. F. Weiss from the New Jersey State Police was in charge of conducting the investigation into this particular crime.
