On Wednesday, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced that a Phillipsburg man had been arrested for allegedly filming and then distributing online footage depicting the sexual abuse of a 3-year-old girl.
Authorities said they have charges against 22-year-old Jabari Amador for sexual assault, endangering a child, creating child pornography, possessing child pornography, and distributing 25 pieces of child pornography.

According to the officials, Amador is currently being held in the Warren County Jail pending trial.
Platkin, in a press statement, explained that New Jersey State Police worked with their Colorado counterparts to identify Amador as the originator of the child pornographic materials that were seized in an early January arrest in Colorado.
Platkin stated in a statement, “People who make and traffic in child sexual assault materials inflict unspeakable suffering on victims who often suffer from it all throughout their lives.”

If an adult is found guilty of abusing, exploiting, or hurting a child, that person will be held accountable.
Authorities in Colorado said they located photographs in the suspect’s messages that led them to New Jersey.
As a result of the information provided by Colorado authorities, the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the New Jersey State Police was able to track the photographs back to Amador, the police said.

Police allege that after searching Amador’s electronic devices, they discovered child abuse content that was created and shared by Amador.
According to the authorities, the case is being prosecuted by the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.
