Amber Heard spoke in court on Monday about how she used a cosmetics kit to conceal marks left on her body as a result of Johnny Depp<\/a>‘s attacks.<\/p>\n

“When I leave the home in LA, I usually get snapped by photographers,” Heard said. “No lady likes to show off a bruise on her cheek.”<\/p>\n

She explained how she used various colors depending on the severity of the bruises, starting with green powder to conceal red markings and then moving on to red or orange tones as the bruises progressed to purple.<\/p>\n

Heard said, “The objective is to counterbalance whatever color you’re working with on the bruise.” The usage of a makeup kit by Heard has sparked conspiracy ideas among Depp’s legal defenders, encouraged by the cosmetics business Milani<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft held up a makeup kit during opening arguments in April, telling jurors they’d hear about how Heard “had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises as they developed in the different coloring and how she would use to touch those up to be able to cover those.”<\/p>\n

Heard was called to testify.<\/h2>\n

Milani cosmetics<\/a> produced a TikTok video that quickly went viral, ostensibly refuting Bredehoft’s assertion. The Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit she presented to the jury was released in 2017, a year after Heard filed for divorce from Depp.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Heard testified on the hypothesis. Bredehoft, who gave her the cosmetics kit, pressed her on if it was “the precise one” she used during her connection with Depp.<\/p>\n
