Following the event, Michelle Chacon, a resident of Corona, Queens, was taken into custody and charged with grand larceny. The victim is under the impression that Chacon coordinated the distraction with two other younger ladies.<\/p>\n
On March 31, a pickpocketing occurred when the victim was shopping at an East Harlem grocery store with her mother. The victim, who talked to FOX 5 New York under the condition that her identity not be revealed, was shopping at the store.<\/p>\n
