On April 12, Hudson County was struck by two major fires that tore through homes in Weehawken and Union City. These flames were among the largest in the county.<\/p>\n

At 10:45 p.m., a house fire that quickly escalated to a four-alarm blaze broke out in the town of Weehawken.<\/p>\n

The blaze, which originated in one of the houses on Jane Street, quickly spread to the other two houses on the street.<\/p>\n

The North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Department was the first to arrive on the scene, and the Bayonne Fire Department provided assistance. There were no reports of any injuries.<\/p>\n

According to the Red Cross of New Jersey, a three-alarm fire completely destroyed a multi-family home on 8th Street in Union City, leaving 20 people without homes as a result. There were no reports of any injuries.<\/p>\n
