On Thursday, a man in New York pled guilty to raping a 6-year-old girl and paying her in pocket change to keep quiet about it. On May 12 a judgment will be handed out concerning Jose Romero, 34.<\/p>\n

Tierney. The defendant was brought to justice because, thankfully, she had the guts to come forward and testify before the Grand Jury.<\/p>\n The little girl will not be subjected to further victimization by having to face her attacker in court thanks to this plea deal.<\/p>\n Prosecutors said, based on the evidence uncovered and Romero’s own admissions during his plea allocution, that he gave the kid pocket change to conceal her actions from her parents.
