NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2013 As of today, Thursday brought the discovery of a small youngster who had been left alone at a dangerous junction in Jersey City, according to police radio recordings.<\/p>\n

After being discovered at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Virginia Avenue at 1:35 p.m., the child was reportedly escorted to the Jersey City Medical Center to be evaluated before being transported there. NJ.com was able to receive these communications.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the authorities have requested that the NJ Transit police examine whether or not the child’s parents were riding the Hudson-Bergen light rail at the time of the incident and were unaware that their youngster had gotten off the train and wandered away.<\/p>\n

It is possible that the child, who is said to be 2 or 3 years old and may not speak at all, traveled across Martin Luther King Drive on his own.<\/p>\n

According to the story, nobody immediately reported the youngster as missing, and police in Jersey City investigated neighboring schools and daycare centers to see if they could find him. However, not a single one of the facilities mentioned that they were missing a child.<\/p>\n
