(1010 WINS) \u2014 WEST NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY<\/strong> (West New York) According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation into a drug dealer that had been going on for several months resulted in the arrest of a United States Postal Service employee from West New York on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

James Belardo, age 41, was accused of plotting to distribute cocaine and was charged with conspiracy.<\/p>\n

According to the authorities, an employee of the United States Postal Service was the third individual to be arrested as part of a narcotics ring in West New York.<\/p>\n

His claimed role in the drug dealing organization, as well as whether or not he used his position at the post office for dealing, were not specified by the prosecutor’s office in their report.<\/p>\n

After a search warrant was executed on February 26 at the residence of Rowaldi Caceres, 39, and Hilda Membreno, 29, the Narcotics Task Force of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office made the arrests.<\/p>\n

During the operation, law enforcement officials located more than a kilogram of cocaine<\/a> in addition to around thirty thousand dollars in cash.<\/p>\n

The date of March 29 has been set for the initial appearance of Belardo in court.<\/p>\n
