According to sources within the law enforcement community, a 14-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times by her younger brother in their home in Queens on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

According to the New York City Police Department, the adolescent sustained “several stab wounds to the torso” at approximately 7 p.m. inside the Jamaica home on 111th Avenue and 156th Street.<\/p>\n

She was in stable condition when she was transported to Jamaica Hospital.<\/p>\n

According to the sources, the younger brother was taken into custody inside the home.<\/p>\n

It is currently unknown how old he is, and it was also unknown what charges if any, he would be up against.<\/p>\n

According to a neighbor who spoke with The Post, the disturbed family had relocated to the south Queens area a few years before.<\/p>\n

The neighbor, who would not give her name, commented that the family did not interact with the outside world but appeared to get along.<\/p>\n

“Every once in a while you could catch a glimpse of them giggling and having fun,” she added regarding the children.<\/p>\n

“I consider that to be a terrible thing. I prayed that God would bless the family. I was expressing my desire that everyone was doing well at that location.<\/p>\n
