According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 2700 block of Bruce Place on Tuesday evening at approximately 7:40 p.m. for the complaint of a shooting that had taken place there.<\/p>\n
When the police came, they discovered two males who had been shot when they arrived at the scene. At the site, it was determined that one of the victims had passed away.<\/p>\n
Dana Faulkner, 23 years old, a resident of Southeast, District of Columbia, was identified as the victim. The second victim was taken to the hospital after being transported there.<\/p>\n

Not too much longer after that, authorities were called to the intersection of Wheeler Road and Mississippi Avenue in Southeast to investigate a report of a person who was unconscious.<\/p>\n
As the officers from the MPD arrived, they discovered a teenager who had been shot and was in severe condition. He was taken in a vehicle to the nearby hospital.<\/p>\n
After their investigation, the authorities came to the conclusion that the victim was in the 2700 block of Bruce Place, Southeast when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n
The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who offers information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the crime.<\/p>\n
