PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) \u2014 On Tuesday, a lady from the Seattle region was taken into custody with around $10,000 worth of stolen property, and according to the Tigard police, this is not the first time she has stolen.<\/p>\n

According to the police, Schama Lynce-Goree, 28, was arrested in connection to organized retail theft for allegedly taking stuff and then returning it for gift cards, which were then sold for cash. This behavior is considered to be part of the organized retail theft scheme.<\/p>\n

On February 28, the police learned that Lynce-Goree had made an attempt to return stolen products to the Lululemon stores located in Portland, Clackamas, and Tigard.<\/p>\n

She was detained on three counts of first-degree theft when the detectives stopped her as she was leaving the store in Tigard and placed her under custody, according to the authorities.<\/p>\n

A replica firearm along with around $10,000 worth of stolen goods, $2,200 in gift cards<\/strong>, and other items was found in her vehicle, according to the police.<\/p>\n

Sean’Janae Phillips, 25, who was riding as a passenger in her vehicle, was also charged with theft in the first degree.<\/p>\n

On February 26, Lynce-Goree allegedly stole almost $7,000 worth of merchandise from a Lululemon store located in Tigard, Oregon, and she also allegedly threatened an employee working at the business. As a result, she is now facing a charge of theft and robbery in the third degree.<\/p>\n

According to the authorities, Lynce-Goree has been tied to over $40,000 worth of losses that have occurred at Lululemon stores in both Oregon and Washington since December.<\/p>\n
