Students and parents at Soaring Heights Charter School in Jersey City expressed to News 12 that they felt safe and confidence in the school’s safety after an incident on Friday morning that may have involved a bomb threat. The incident took place early in the morning.<\/p>\n

I have a lot of faith in the administration of the school, as well as in the Jersey City Emergency Service and the fire department. I also have a lot of faith in the people who work in the fire department.<\/p>\n

A man named Victor Negron, who resides in Jersey City, is quoted as saying, “I believe that they are the best.”<\/p>\n

According to a member of the school’s administrative staff, the Jersey City police department arrived on the scene around six in the morning.<\/p>\n

Following what was initially believed to be an inquiry into a threatening email as well as an examination of the school, it was determined that there was no reason for anyone to be concerned about the situation.<\/p>\n

After that, the school opened with a two-hour delay, beginning classes at 10 in the morning rather than at nine.<\/p>\n

This morning, there was a threat made against the school, but it was not one that could be taken seriously.<\/p>\n

“the relevant authorities were notified,” said Jacqueline Quagliana, who is the Lead Person at Soaring Heights Charter School.<\/p>\n
