Dolma Naadhum, 7, was killed after being struck by a car on Friday near the corner of Newtown Road and 46th Street. Despite emergency medical treatment at Elmhurst Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n
Tsering Wangdu, Dolma’s father, had an older son with his wife Sonam and admitted, “I am not good.”<\/p>\n
According to a family member, the unfortunate event occurred as the girl and her mother was returning after a routine outing to the playground.<\/p>\n
“Her mother is alone in bed. The father, the relative said, “has been crying.<\/p>\n
Another member of the family sobbed as she described the tragic loss of the young daughter.<\/p>\n

No one has been taken into custody, and the police report no illegal activity.<\/p>\n Donations to a GoFundMe page set up for Dolma’s family have topped $20,000 as of Saturday night, and the page claims she was a second grader at PS 85 in Astoria.<\/p>\n Dolma was a friendly and caring young lady who would greet each and every student as they arrived for class each day.<\/p>\n
